ABOUT ROBBIE

Robbie has worked with children and adults therapeutically for the last seven years. He has lots of experience in Primary Schools working as a Teacher’s Assistant as well as having studied at The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education as a Child Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner for the last two years. He trained at The Minster Centre in Psychotherapy and Counselling and also was a Wellbeing Facilitator and Songwriting Tutor at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Robbie also studied Psychology at Newcastle University for three years receiving a 2.1. BSc. He also performed his songs at Wormwood Scrubs Prison to 40 inmates.
Robbie currently works as a support worker in the local community assisting people with special needs and learning difficulties with their everyday tasks. He also has extensive experience in the songwriting field as a band leader for eight years with success on TV and radio as well as touring the world. Robbie worked for Song Academy as a lead Songwriting Tutor to eight to fifteen-year olds in an after school songwriting club. He also ran his own after school songwriting club for a whole year at his local primary school to great effect.
